Settings in Field definer

Application management : Configuration : Field Definer : User-defined business objects : Allowing end users to change the type of business object : Settings in Field definer

Make the following settings in Field definer :

1. Specify at least one status for the system business object for which you are going to create user-defined types.
See Creating user statuses.

2. Create user-defined business objects.
For example: Complex and Wing, based on the Properties system business object. See Creating user-defined business objects.

Note	Make sure that you specify the same default status for both user-defined business objects in the Default status field.

3. Specify a status transition for each of the user-defined business objects (Wing and Complex) you have created. See Defining user status transitions. For the user status transitions you create, the From status field should be left empty. In the To status field, select the user-defined status you have created in step 1.

4. Set the status of the system business object (Properties) back to Completed.
