Using a multiple-selection list for filtering
After linking a multiple-selection list to a business object and making it available on the business object's layout, end users can use the items of the multiple-selection list as filter criteria in the search bar.
*
For more information on filtering, see Fundamentals > Searching/filtering.
Procedure
1. Start a TSI with the layout in which you have made the multiple-selection list available.
2. In the search bar, select the free field to which the multiple-selection list is linked. You can filter using either the Linked to or Is empty filter options. The filter results are displayed in the elements list.
Linked to
Specify the filter criteria you want to apply. The items of the multiple-selection list are available as filter criteria.
Is empty
By selecting the Is empty filter option, the filter results contain all elements for which the multiple-selection field was not filled.
