Linking a multiple-selection list to a business object
Prerequisite
The picklist you want to link as a multiple-selection list must already exist in Supporting data > Pick lists.

Procedure
1. Go to Field definer > Business objects.
2. Select the relevant business object to which you want to link a multiple-selection list and set its status to Under construction.
In this example, we will use the Visitors business object to which you want to link a list of dietary choices.
3. Go to > .
4. On the Links action panel, click Add.
◦ In the Linked business object field, select the relevant picklist (in our example: the list of dietary choices).
◦ In the Field field, select a free field to which the multiple-selection list is to be linked. Only free fields that are not In use are displayed
6. Click Save.
7. Set the business object’s status back to Completed
You have now linked a multiple-selection list to the Visitors business object. To make the list available for use, see Making a multiple-selection list available for use.
