Notes on translatable list values
• If a customized translation is not provided, the default translation is shown.
• When exporting a language, these user-defined translations will not appear in the language file.
• When a language is added later, all user translations will have to be provided for that language manually.
• Reports will display the customized translation.
• Customers that only use a single language are not affected.
Data filtering
• It is not possible to use the translated descriptions in an authorization filter.
 | Filtering may not always give proper results as a result of this feature. Therefore, an error message will appear when creating a filter on business objects for which the user-translatable field is set to Yes. Customers who already have authorizations or filters and who start using this feature are recommended to check their settings and not to use filters (TSI Selection step filters, TSI group filters, authorization filters) linked to the translatable Description field. |
