Adding dynamic navigation links
Dynamic navigation links can be created for specific Planon business objects, for example Assets, Spaces, Workspaces (fixed), Flexible workspaces (Reservation units) and Personnel. So, adding a new dynamic navigation link starts in the suppported TSIs, such as Assets Pro, Reservations, Spaces & workspaces etc.
Preconditions:
• the Planon app must be downloaded from the store first, to make the created dynamic QR codes work in the app.
• the Create navigation links step action must be configured / made available on the action panel of the relevant business object. System administrators can configure this in TSIs. See Linked step actions.

Procedure
In the following procedure, a dynamic navigation link is created for asset records in the Assets Pro TSI.
1. Go to the Assets Pro TSI.
2. Select one or more assets in the element list.
3. Click the Create navigation links action.
4. In the dialog, select the Navigation link type (for use with the Planon app, select: Planon app navigation link).
5. On the action panel, click Create links.
◦ The system checks for existing active links to prevent duplicates.
◦ New records are created in the Dynamic navigation links TSI with a unique UUID (Universally Unique Identifier).
