Configuring 'TSI jumps' (navigation actions) for dynamic QR codes
This feature is intended for Planon administrators, providing them with easy TSI navigation between configured items.
You can create 'TSI jumps' (
Navigation actions) from business objects such as personnel, assets, spaces, fixed and flexible workspaces to existing dynamic navigation links (such as dynamic QR codes).
Example: a Person is linked to a Dynamic QR code (navigation link). If you create TSI jumps between these two, you allow users to jump from a selected person to the configured navigation link. A similar 'jump action' on the dynamic QR code allows them to jump back.
The following procedure explains how you can configure TSI jumps between business objects, in this example Personnel, and an existing dynamic QR code.
Preconditions:
1. Dynamic QR codes are already created on the respective layouts of relevant business objects (Personnel, Assets, Spaces, Reservation units-> Flexible workspaces, Workspaces).
2. The Dynamic navigation links TSI is configured on the navigation panel of the relevant user(s).
3. In the Deep link navigation TSI, the relevant business objects have the field Deep link access allowed? set to Yes.
Procedure
1. On the navigation panel, under ProCenter modules, select TSIs.
2. In the list, find and select the Personnel TSI.
3. Set it under construction.
4. On the data panel, select the Personnel tab (= selection level).
5. In the Linked step actions field on the right-hand panel, click Select a value.
The Linked step actions dialog opens.
6. From the left section, select the Jump to dynamic navigation link action and move it to the right-hand section.
7. Click OK.
8. Set the TSI to Completed.
The Jump to dynamic navigation link action is displayed on the action panel of the Personnel selection step (Personnel TSI). Authorized users of this TSI, for example application managers, can now easily navigate to the Dynamic navigation links TSI. By clicking the Jump from navigation link BO action that is available there, they can also 'jump' back again to the relevant business object.
