Generating and downloading dynamic QR codes
Once dynamic navigation links have been created for specific business object records - for example for Assets in the Assets Pro TSI - you can generate and download the actual QR codes.
 | Dynamic QR codes are specially suited for use together with the Planon app. App users can scan the dynamic QR codes with their mobile device's native camera even if the Planon app is not yet opened. The dynamic QR code will be recognized and give access to the Planon app. |
Procedure
1. Open the Dynamic navigation links TSI.
2. Select the relevant navigation link records
3. Click the Create QR codes action.
4. In the dialog, configure the following options:
◦ Error correction: Select Low, Medium, Quartile, or High (Default: Medium).
◦ Include code in QR: Select the box to display the record's code (for example Asset code) below the QR image.
5. Click Download.
A ZIP file is generated containing PNG images for each link. In this file, CSV files are included per business object (BO) group, containing the Code, BO definition, and URL. The codes can be made available as scannable and printable QR codes on the relevant items.
6. Open the QR-codes.csv file(s) to see data of the QR code(s) and process them as required.
