Mobile actions
On-hold enabled?
Yes: there will be an option to put the job on hold on the device.
No: there will not be an option to put the job on hold on the device.
Display order line materials?
Yes: enable the display of required materials on the mobile device. These are taken over from the order lines and likely to be needed to execute the order. This feature also enables engineers to register the actual use of materials.
No: disable this feature.
Allow addition of material costs?
Yes: engineers are allowed to specify costs for used or requested materials. Typically, these are costs for items / materials that had to be purchased separately, because they were not planned for or were unavailable in the (mobile) store. In ProCenter (back-office), the costs will be shown in the Price excl. VAT / tax field on Order lines / Requisition lines.
No: disable this feature.
Log asset code?
Yes: enable sending scanned asset bar codes from the PMFS app to the back-office, via a communication log.
No: disable this feature.
Prevent overlaps in time registration
Always: prevents field engineers from registering overlapping labor hours per individual job, for all job types.
Only for service agreement services: only prevents the registration of overlapping labor hours per individual job for service agreement services (Service Providers solution).
Note  
Regardless of which option you select, the system will not prevent overlapping across multiple jobs.
Allow time registration for externals?
Yes: enable labor hour registration of external staff. Field engineers can manually register labor hours for externals.
No: disable labor hour registration of external staff.
Reassigning allowed?
Yes: make it possible for an engineer to directly reassign a job, , instead of returning it to the back-office for reassigning. The Reassign action is displayed on the device as soon as a job is accepted. Only jobs that are in progress (Work, Travel, Wait and Pause actions) can be reassigned. Engineers are required to give a reason for reassigning the job. See Action and reason configuration (MM and PMFS) for information on configuring action-reason combinations.
No: disable this feature.
Display faults & incomplete work?
Yes: enable the display of faults and incomplete work on the mobile device when signing off. So, if there are checklist items on a maintenance activity that were assessed with an observation or not assessed at all, they are listed on the Sign-off screen. This setting only applies to the summary view of the Sign-off screen. In the comprehensive view all maintenance activities are listed. See Main for information on the Sign-off overview setting.
