Mobile envelopes TSI
About the mobile envelopes TSI
This TSI logs the mobile envelopes and associated messages sent between the back-office ( Planon ProCenter ) and the app in the PMFS solution . Planon administrators can use the Mobile envelopes TSI to monitor the app's messaging activities and manage any online / offline 'synchronization' issues that might occur.
*
For more information about the messages and working offline, see Mobile envelopes and working offline.
The Mobile envelopes TSI must be added to the navigation panel(s) of those responsible for monitoring data synchronization between back-office and field engineers.
Selection levels and steps
To be able to use the full functionality of this TSI - such as reprocessing any failed envelope messages and deleting obsolete mobile envelopes - make sure that all the relevant levels, steps and layouts of the TSI are configured for Planon administrators:
Mobile envelopes selection level - lists all inbound envelopes for work assignments and downloaded assets.
Envelope messages selection level - includes three selection steps for messages.
Inbound envelope messages selection step - messages sent from the device to the back-office, linked to the associated envelope.
Outbound envelope messages selection step - messages sent to the device from the back-office, linked to the associated envelope.
Envelope-independent messages selection step - messages sent from the device to the back-office if no envelope is involved (for example the Add request action in the Work assignments module).

Completed
Envelope has been successfully processed. Work assignment / asset removed from the app, with data finalized in Planon ProCenter . The envelope can be safely deleted without data loss.
Revoked
Envelope is removed from the app; it can be safely deleted without data loss.
Processing messages
In the Mobile envelopes TSI you can process inbound and outbound messages, like you can in Event Connector. The difference is that the Mobile envelopes TSI only shows the messages related to mobile envelopes. See Processing and Reprocessing stuck messages for information on how to reprocess failed messages. You can clean up completed envelopes by deleting them manually, or via a scheduled task.
*
Planon administrators are advised to use a scheduled task to regularly clean up the list of successfully processed mobile envelopes. See Scheduled tasks for more information on scheduling the SYSENVELOPE_CLEANER task. Only if the envelopes have the status Completed or Revoked and are at least older than one day will it be possible to remove them. If the envelopes still have unsynchronized messages linked they cannot be removed.
