Creating an asset scenario
Create an asset scenario to define a maintenance and replacement strategy for an asset. You can create multiple scenarios for the same asset to compare different lifecycle strategies and their projected costs.
Before you begin, verify:
• The asset exists.
• You have permission to create and modify Asset Scenarios.
• The required asset information is available.
Procedure
1. Select the Asset for which you want to create a lifecycle scenario.
2. Go to > .
3. Click Add on the action panel.
4. Enter the required information on the data panel.
 | The fields that must be completed depend on the selected Lifecycle Cost Calculator. The Planon Lifecycle Cost Calculator requires Base life, Maintenance costs, and Replacement costs. |

5. Click Save.
The asset scenario is created and is available for generating Lifecycle costs. You can now generate lifecycle costs for the newly created asset scenarios.
