Lifecycle calculator

Select the lifecycle cost calculator used to generate lifecycle costs for the asset scenario. Planon provides the Planon Lifecycle cost calculator. Custom lifecycle cost calculators can also be made available through PaaP apps.

Life (base)

Enter a value for the expected service life of the asset used to calculate lifecycle costs.

Minimum life

Enter the minimum expected service life of the asset.

Maximum life

Enter the maximum expected service life of the asset.

Replacement costs

When you select an asset, the Replacement costs value is automatically copied from the asset.

Maintenance costs

Enter the estimated annual maintenance costs of the asset.

Maintenance costs - percentage

Enter the percentage used to calculate the maintenance costs.

Criticality

In this reference field, select the relevant criticality value for the asset. This is the overall criticality value that can be used to assess or prioritize maintenance or replacement or other decisions on the asset scenarios.

Criticality sub [1 - 5]

Enter additional criticality classifications for the asset. These values supplement the overall criticality and can be used in lifecycle cost calculations, depending on the selected cost calculator.
