How does hit count licensing work?
When a Planon Self-Service hit occurred (add/list), this hit is registered in the hit count data table. Used hits are only updated on a daily basis; you do not see this until one day later.
*
For more information on hit counts in Self-Service, refer to Licensing – Hit counts in Self-Service.
With a module license type, hits are registered in the Hit count data table when performing actions on a specific module.
With a bundle license type, hits are registered in the Hit count data table when creating a list or report (Query bundle) or when making modifications to a module (Transaction bundle).
Hits incurred for Planon Self-Service are, each day, combined in the hit count year table.
Each year a number of hits are available, if the number is exhausted the feature can no longer be used.
If the number of hits is exhausted, a license with a greater number of hits should be bought.
The hit count threshold can be monitored (for example, by creating a notification) to prevent running out of hits.
