Activity snapshots settings
This business object setting allows you to set periods for capturing and storing snapshots of key planning data. The snapshots allow planners to look back at what was originally planned and compare it to what actually happened.
Procedure
1. Go to Field definer > Business Objects > Activity snapshots.
2. On the Status transitions action panel, click Under construction.
3. On the System business objects action panel, click Business objects settings.
The Activity snapshot settings dialog box appears.
4. Go to the field Activity snapshot periods.
5. Click
. The Activity snapshot periods dialog box appears.
6. Select the relevant value from the Activity snapshot periods dialog box and click OK. This determines which expected cost records are included in the snapshot, only months, only year or both months and years.
7. Go to the field Number of years included in activity snapshot and enter the required number of years.
| The minimum number of years that can be entered is one year, and the maximum is 50 years. |
8. Click Save and Close.
9. Go to the Business objects selection level and click Completed on the Status transitions action panel.
