Specifying a maximum number of maintenance activities generated per PPM order
In Field definer , you can set a maximum number of maintenance activities that will be generated per PPM order.
In some cases you might want to restrict the number of maintenance activities generated for a single PPM order, for example if the order is shown in a Planon app. With the setting Max. no. of maintenance activities per PPM order you can set a limit. By default, this setting contains no value, which means that all generated maintenance activities are grouped under a single PPM order. However, if you fill in an applicable maximum, the number of maintenance activities generated for a single PPM order is restricted to that number.
Procedure
1. Go to Field definer > Business Objects selection level and select the Base activity definitions business object.
2. On the Status transitions action panel, click Under construction.
3. On the System business objects action panel, click Business objects settings.
The Maintenance activity definition settings dialog box appears.
4. Go to the setting Max. no. of maintenance activities per PPM order.

5. Specify an applicable number.
6. Click Save and Close.
7. Return to the Business objects selection level and on the Status transitions action panel click Completed.
