Settings for the Base Activity Definitions business object (Maintenance Planner)
In Field definer , at the Business objects selection level, several settings can be made for the Base activity definitions business object. This business object and its subtypes are used in the Maintenance planner and Maintenance library TSIs.
 | As of release L134, the business object Maintenance activity (MA) is separated from the Base maintenance activity definition. Due to this technical split, the base Maintenance activity definition (MAD) needs a slightly different configuration process. When you add, modify, or remove fields in the Maintenance activity definition, you must apply the same changes manually to the Maintenance activity business object. Keeping the configurations between definition and maintenance activity aligned will prevent issues during the PPM order generation and ensures consistent system behavior. |
