Enabling the use of a reference date for free business objects

Application management : Configuration : Field Definer : General business object settings : Enabling the use of a reference date for free business objects

For all free business objects, you can specify if you want to use a reference date. By default, the use of a reference date is disabled.

Procedure

1. At the Business objects selection level, select the free business object for which you want to use a reference date.

2. Set the business object to Under construction. See Setting a business object under construction.

3. On the General tab, set the Reference date activated (if configurable)? field to Yes.

4. Click Save.

5. Set the business object to Completed.

You have now enabled the use of a reference date for this business object.

The Reference date activated (if configurable)? setting can only be configured for free business objects. For all other business objects - including those where the use of a reference date is by default enabled by Planon, such as the Space business object - this setting always has the value No. You cannot modify this setting.
