Setting a business object under construction

Application management : Configuration : Field Definer : General business object settings : Setting a business object under construction

You can only edit a business object if its status is set to Under construction.

Procedure

1. At the Business objects selection level, select the business object that you want to edit.

2. On the Status transitions action panel, click Under construction. A business object that is Under construction is indicated by the

icon. You can now edit the business object's settings.

If you change the status of a business object to Under construction, all users working with it at that moment in Planon ProCenter , are unable to save this business object.
An error message is displayed. If this message is displayed, the users must cancel their changes and select the Refresh list option from the View menu before they can continue with their work.

3. Once you are done with your edits, click Completed on the Status transitions action panel. Your changes will become effective when the business object is set to the Completed status.
