Adding a user-defined business object to a TSI
Before a user-defined business object can be used, you must create a layout for it and assign it to the TSI in which you want to use it. This is explained in the following procedure, using the Work Orders TSI as an example.
Procedure
1. In Field definer , select the user-defined business object you just created and click Jump to Layouts in the action panel.
2. In Layouts , click to add a new layout for your business object.
3. Configure the layout as desired. For more information, see Layouts.
4. Go to TSIs .
5. Select the Work Orders TSI and set it Under construction.
6. Go to Orders > Orders.
As you can see, the new layout you just created is still unassigned and grayed out in the list.
7. Select the layout (Complaint in this example) and right-click to assign it to the TSI.
