Field type
Description
Code descriptive
If the field type is Code descriptive, you should also enter a value in the Pick list / code, descriptive field.
Descriptive
If the field type is Descriptive, you should also enter a value in the Pick list / descriptive field.

•    If you configure a free string field as URL field, please note that lengthy location URLs do not work. You can shorten the URL using a URL shortener.
•    Alternatively, you can change the field type to a Relative URL.
Date
Dates for which the format to be used depends on the Windows settings. A date may be chosen from a calendar. Note that this field type does not display a time.
Derived
This field type is only available for free fields of the Move lines business object. A free field of this type derives its field value directly from the field value specified in Derived field (which is a field of the business object given by the Derived from field attribute). So, if a free field is of this type, you must enter values in both the Derived from field and Derived field fields in FieldDefiner.
Derive and restore
This field type is very similar to the Derived field type. It is only available for free fields of the Move lines business object.
The difference with the Derived field type is that a free field of this type will update the field from which it was derived, after a move line is completed.

Free business object 1 - 30
