Processing methods and distribution items
In the Distribution point management TSI, at the Distribution points selection level, you must determine which processing method should be applied to all products that are linked to a distribution point.
 | Good to know • A distribution item is created for each product linked to the distribution point, which will ensure that the correct product flow is applied (i.e. the selected processing method). • If you select the processing method Planon stock items, the stock items will track the available quantity for the distribution item (stock item). • Multiple distribution points can be configured for the same physical location, each with a their own processing method. • Products can be issued from and returned to a distribution point, regardless of the selected processing method. |
