Field | Description | ||
|---|---|---|---|
Cost settlement profile | Specify the cost settlement profile to which you want to link the costs. The cost settlement profile is only required if you want to import the financial commitments of this contract line as costs in the Costs to be settled TSI. | ||
Standard cost type | Specify the cost type that applies to the costs, for example 'Cleaning', 'Heating', 'Water', etc. These are the 'included cost types': the costs included in the contract. These costs are not charged separately to the lessee and are therefore for the lessor. Use Link included cost types to link cost types. The link of the included cost types is not life cycle aware. This means that the linked cost types are included for the entire duration of the contract line.
| ||
Cost settlement applicable? | Indicate whether contract costs can be imported, so that these costs can be settled in a settlement. | ||
Part of Cost Settlement? | Indicates whether the contract line is included in a cost settlement. This read-only field is managed entirely by the system and cannot be changed manually. By default, the field is set to No. When a cost settlement is executed, Planon checks the rentable units/spaces included in the cost settlement profile. If the contract line is linked to one of these rentable units/spaces during the cost settlement period, the field is automatically set to Yes. Once set to Yes, the value remains unchanged, even if a cost settlement is reset, because the contract line may still be included in another cost settlement. Contract lines with this field set to Yes count towards the volume license. Contract lines with the status Expired or Terminated are no longer counted towards the volume license, regardless of the value of this field. |
