Importing CAD-related business objects
When importing CAD-related business objects (drawing definitions, import definitions and mappings) the following limitations apply:
WebDAV content (e.g. referenced CAD drawings) will not be handled by Configuration Transfer.
An imported CAD drawing definition will always be in status 'Under construction'.
Importing a CAD drawing definition will fail when the target system already contains a CAD drawing definition with an identical name that is in status 'Completed'.
Importing a CAD drawing definition will create and update child BOs (e.g. CAD Field Mappings) but will not delete them.
Behavior will be undefined when certain business objects are not uniquely identifiable. This is the case in the following situations:
When multiple CAD linked business objects have the same name, the same subtype, and reference the same CAD drawing definition.
When multiple CAD business object mappings have the same subtype, reference the same CAD Layer, and reference the same CAD linked business object.
When multiple CAD field mappings reference the same business object and Business Object field, and reference the same CAD linked business object.
When multiple CAD import definitions have the same code and name.
When a CAD import definition references a user report through the fields Additional floor info (AdditionalFloorInfo) or Additional space info (AdditionalSpaceInfo) and multiple user reports with that name exist.
