Overlay report configuration
An overlay is based on a data only report.
In BIM viewer, an overlay can be used to visualize and highlight spaces and assets.
You can use it, for example, to generate markers for marking BIM entities by defining:
The color of the marker
The size of the marker
The text belonging to the marker

based on a condition, you can specify the text, size and color of a markers. The result may be an overlay containing markers of different sizes and colors.
Overlays use the Planon report functionality to transfer data from Planon to BIM viewer.
In the report settings, you can define an alternative column text, which is used to define the relationship between the Planon data and the expected outcome in BIM viewer.
If the alternative column text is set to Color, the Planon application expects that this field will contain a color or that this expression will result in a hexadecimal color code.

Any valid hexadecimal color code will be used to color the marker.

Scale used for sizing markers: 1 to 10.
Rules:
<1 = Not visible
1–10 = Value will be used as the size of the marker
10 = Value of 10 will be used as the size of the marker
