Rerunning a settlement period

If reported turnover, fixed rent, or prepayments are changed after a turnover rent settlement has been completed, you can rerun the settlement period to recalculate the turnover rent.

Procedure

1. Go to Turnover rent - settlement > Contracts.

2. Select the lease contract for which you want to rerun a period.

3. Go to Settlement periods.

4. Select the settlement period that you want to rerun.

5. Set the Planned for rerun? field to Yes for that period.

6. Go to Contracts.

7. Perform a trial settlement and final settlement for this period (see Settling a turnover rent).

Planon recalculates the selected settlement period using the updated turnover, fixed rent, and prepayment data. If the recalculated turnover rent differs from the amount that was previously settled, Planon generates an additional turnover rent amount for the difference. The previously settled turnover rent is taken into account as a prepayment, ensuring that only the remaining amount is settled.
