Rerun accumulation periods
When working with turnover rent based on accumulation periods, you can rerun a settlement period, even if it has already been settled. Planon automatically recalculates all related periods to keep accumulated totals accurate.
In turnover rent, settlement periods can be part of an accumulation period. This means that each period builds on the results of previous periods, creating a running total across a defined time range (for example, several months).
Because of this dependency, changes to one period can affect all subsequent periods within the same accumulation period.
If you need to correct or recalculate a settlement period:
Select the settlement period you want to recalculate.
Set the period to Rerun.
When you rerun a settlement period that is part of an accumulation period:
Planon also sets all subsequent settlement periods in the same accumulation period to Rerun.
During recalculation, all affected periods are processed again.
Accumulated totals are updated based on the corrected data.
This ensures consistency across all periods without requiring manual intervention.
*
You do not need to manually select the following periods—Planon does this automatically.
Only settlement periods within the same accumulation period are affected.
Recalculating an earlier period can change the accumulated values of all subsequent periods.
Example
An accumulation period covers January through June.
If March needs to be corrected and is set to rerun:
April, May, and June are automatically set to rerun.
The recalculation updates the running totals from March onward.
This ensures that all accumulated values remain consistent across the accumulation period.
