Importing translations using Translations Wizard
Translations can be imported using Translations wizard.
Good to remember
• In addition to the translations inside the package (a zip file containing the translation files), also the Planon core translations (Languages level) need to be translated to cover all levels of translations.
• You can import translations even if the related system translations are missing.
• The translations to be imported should be compressed as a zip file (a package), the same as the exported file.
Procedure
1. Go to Languages level and click Import translations in the action panel.
The Translations Import Wizard appears.
2. Browse to and select the zipped package file containing your translations or drop the file in the Select Package file field area.
In addition to Language package information, the Language and Regional settings from package_info.json are displayed.
3. Click Next to continue to the next step.
The Define import mode step appears.
4. Select the import mode:
◦ Maintain user translations: this mode keeps user translations and only overwrites default translations.
◦ Overwrite user translations: this mode overwrites translations, replacing user and system translations with those available in the package.
5. Click Next to continue to the next step.
The Confirm import step appears.
If you have chosen to Overwrite user translations earlier, you will be notified that the Existing language will be overwritten.
6. Click Complete to start the import.
The import is started as a background action, the status will be In progress and later it will change to Completed.
