Configuration translations
It is possible to export and import configuration translations.
The configuration layer translations are exported by using Enterprise Talk. The outcome of this process will be an XML file that can serve as the source for translation.
Procedure
1. Go to Enterprise Talk and select EXP_PATranslation on Definitions level.
If you do not have the definition, please get in touch with Planon.
2. Go to Documents level and note the data source location. This is the location where you will find the exported XML file after running the definition.
*
Make sure that this data source location exists, otherwise the run will fail.
By default, this will export all translatable items for the US English language (AME). If you want to export another language, you must amend the definition.
3. Go back to Definitions and click Run.
When done, the resulting XML file will be available in your environment's WebDAV location. You can now proceed to translate the XML file.
