Returning a stock item to the supplier / vendor
Stock managers can register the returns of product(s) to the vendor and remove these product(s) from stock.
Procedure
1. Go to Returns.
2. Click Stock item return on the action panel.
The Purchase order dialog box appears.
3. Select a purchase order for which a return should be made.

Only purchase orders in the Accepted or Technically completed status and with at least one confirmed receipt, are displayed in the dialog box.
4. Click OK.
The Stock item return dialog box opens.
5. For a description of the fields, refer to Stock item return fields.
6. Fill in the fields and click OK.
A purchase order return is created for the item that is linked to the selected purchase order.
For every individual purchase order line with a return quantity, a return line is created, which is linked to the purchase order line. The code / name on the return line are identical to those on the purchase order line.
7. Click Confirmed on the action panel.
On confirming a stock item return:
The stock quantities are updated.
Returns are valuated against the value of the related Receipt batch (regardless the valuation method).

Once the return has been confirmed, it is no longer possible to add/remove return lines or to change the quantity of a return line.

You can also add a return with individual return lines by clicking Add on the action panel at Stock items> Returns and Stock Movements > Return lines.
