Issuing stock items
Stock managers can set the status of reserved products to Ready to be issued and hand the items over to the requestor.
This automatically creates issuings with issuing lines in the Reported status. When multiple stock-items are selected for the same product requisition, work order or planned maintenance order, multiple issuing lines will be added.
Issuing stock items to a requestor
1. Go to Stock requests.
2. Select the stock request that is ready to be issued.
3. Click Ready to be issued on the action panel. The following actions are carried out:
If the reserved quantity is less than the requested quantity, then a new Open stock request is created for the non-reserved products and the quantity of the existing stock request is updated.
An issuing line is created in Stock movements > Issuing lines.
The issuing line displays information, such as the product name and code, the distribution point to which the product is linked to, the quantity of the product that is ready to be issued and the date of issuing.
*
If there is a reported issuing present for the requisition, work order or planned maintenance order, the issuing line is added to that issuing. If there is no reported issuing, no new issuing will be created for the requisition.
*
You can cancel a product issuing, by deleting its issuing line. If an issuing line of a stock item is deleted, the status of the related stock request is set back to Reserved.
