Space unit fields
Field
Description
Actual number of people
Allows you to enter the actual number of people a space unit can hold. This number may vary from the Max. no. of people, because a compound space unit may consist of several reservation units.
Compound space Y/N
This field is automatically updated to Yes if the space unit is the parent in a compound reservation unit.
Desk configuration
Select the standard desk configuration in a space unit. For each space unit, you can specify one or more desk configurations in Supporting data . For more information on defining and maintaining desk configurations, refer to Supporting data .
End date-time
Enter an end date-time for the space unit.

The Start date-time and End date-time are not taken into account when creating a reservation.
Facilities
Select the facilities that are available as part of the selected space unit.
Planon users who are looking for a suitable space with specific facilities can use these when filtering.
With one or more facilities selected, the field will display Yes. Click the Select a value icon to add or remove facilities for this reservation unit.
Additional facilities category
This field indicates which of the facilities categories can be used as an additional bookable option in:
Self-Service > Reservation wizard. For configuration information see Reservation wizard - configuration.
Planon app > Workplace solution (for asset units). or configuration information see Configuring 'Optional filters' on a Reservations web definition.
Linked facilities categories
This fields shows the facilities categories that are linked to a reservation unit. You can edit the field via Link facility categories on the action panel.
Floor
Select the floor where the space unit is located. You can use this field to filter and navigate from a floor to a specific space unit.
Max. no. of people
Allows you to enter the maximum number of people a space unit can hold.
Max. reservation duration
Specify the maximum duration that a reservation unit can be reserved.
This (specific) setting cannot exceed the general setting specified in Order settings (Reservations).
No. of advance reservation days
Allows you to enter the number of calendar days a reservation unit can be reserved in advance.

Order group
Allows you to specify the order group to which the reservation of a space unit applies.
Reservation unit components
Displays the code and name of any linked reservation unit(s).
Space
In this field, select the space you want to classify as reservable space unit.
Space unit category
Select a space unit category from the list. For example a conference room, workplace or a parking space.

You can maintain the items displayed in the pick list in Supporting data. Go to Supporting data > Picklists, select RESEENHSRT from the elements list and go to Picklist items.

Start date-time
Enter the start date-time for the space unit. This is the date on which the space unit is registered in Planon, not the start date-time of any reservation of this space unit.
Tariff group
Allows you to select the tariff group you want to link the space unit to.
