Applying a reservation policy to flexible workspace units
Which reservation policy applies to which flexible workspace, depends on the flexible workspace(s) that you configure for the reservation policy. Proceed as follows:
You can configure applicability for workspace units by selecting one of the following options in the Applicability workspace units field:
• All (default): The policy applies to all flexible workspace units.
• Excluding: The policy does not apply to the linked flexible workspaces, but will apply to all others.
Procedure
1. In Reservation policies, go to the Reservation policies selection level.
2. In the Applicability workspace units field, select one of the following options:
◦ All (default): The policy applies to all flexible workspace units.
◦ None: The policy applies to none of the flexible workspaces.
◦ Including: The policy applies only to linked flexible workspaces.
◦ Excluding: The policy does not apply to the linked flexible workspaces, but will apply to all others.
| Whether you configure a policy based on excluding or including linked flexible workspaces is entirely up to you, since this depends on your requirements. |
3. Click Save.
4. If you selected Including or Excluding, go to the action panel and link the flexible workspaces you want to include / exclude.
