Setting up a new sensitivity analysis
The setup process consists of four guided steps: Once configuration is complete, you can start the calculation. Calculation Phase
• During calculation, you may cancel the process, which returns you to Step 3.
• After completion, the sensitivity output is displayed:
◦ A table compares each KPI’s base value against the configured scenario at the process level.
◦ A report is available for download, showing KPI comparisons per allocated asset.
Finalization
• To complete the sensitivity analysis, click Finish. This saves the output.
• If you choose to edit the analysis after finalization, you must recalculate to update the results.
Step 1 - Define the analysis
• Name: Required. You must provide a unique name for the sensitivity analysis.
• Description: Optional. You may add a description to clarify the purpose or scope of the analysis.
Step 2 - Allocate assets
• Select from the available and authorized assets within the process.
• At least one asset must be allocated to proceed.
Step 3 - Configure sensitivity assumptions
• Choose a predefined sensitivity assumption from Application Settings > Sensitivity Assumptions, or create a custom assumption.
• If you modify a predefined assumption, the system automatically converts it into a custom assumption.
• You can add or delete variables and scenarios:
◦ At least one variable and one scenario are required.
◦ Each variable must have a defined type.
◦ The delta value notation adjusts automatically based on the selected variable.
◦ A variable can only be used once per sensitivity analysis.
Once configuration is complete, you can start the calculation.
