Property

The selected property should be a main property, so the parent site, or in case there is no site, the parent building or land. Calculations are done on the complete site Should only be Active main properties that are exchanged to SAP.

Calculate from date

Automatically filled once the start date has a value and gets automatically updated for the last closed period or after the End date. When one of the included Space usages changed, also on tariff group or space type level, it changes the date back to the original start date to where the affected space-usages has been charged for the first time.

Start date

Included space usages from this date onward. As the Financial collection is based on Transaction date for Space usages, all costs are posted in an active period in SAP, so the bigger this period, the more costs are posted in a certain financial period in SAP.

End date

Included space usages until this date. Could be used to cut longer period in pieces, as for one Property, multiple charge back periods can be created. Should not be changed for charge back periods that are already calculated, as then the lines are already sent. There is no effect in a change after that.

Calculate charge back costs

Manual action to trigger a background job to collect the costs. Recommended not be done by functional users during the day as it can become resourceful. Recommended to be included as part of an action definition with a certain condition and schedule to run Monthly. As the charge back periods is aggregated in months, there is no functional reason to run it daily after the first of the month. Only when changes are registered, the background job would then find new or updated lines.
