Plant / Distribution point
A plant in SAP is an organization unit to link purchases, material and equipment and usually has a physical address. It’s not the exact replication of a distribution point in Planon, but because this BO has similar options to linked properties, a delivery address and is available on the requisition line, it must be configured and used to send the plant external code to SAP. Recommended to create a specific user defined BO like organizational unit to not confuse it with actual stock-related distribution points. This object is not consumed, as there are usually only a few per company.

Property
Default Property which will also be used to filter the Distribution point and is the minimum that each Distribution point requires.
Company
Required relation to company. Only 1one distribution point for one property should be linked to the same company.
Delivery addresses
Reference field to delivery address which should get an external code in the external system.
Linked properties
As the distribution point could be interpreted as the central location for multiple type of properties in a campus or bigger terrain, the linked properties are required for any site, building, land or sub-property.
