MQTT gateway
When adding an MQTT gateway, you can benefit from its critical, foundational security layer that prevents unauthorized access.
Procedure
1. On IoT gateways settings level, click Add MQTT client gateway.
2. Fill out the required fields.
Under Gateway authentication type, you can select:
◦ MUTUALCERT - select this option for MQTT client authentication. By selecting this option, you will need to specify the required MQTT broker authentication credentials: MQTT certificate, CA certificate, Client key, Passphrase
◦ USRPWD - select this option to use a User name & Password authentication.
3. Click Save to apply you changes.
You can now use certificate-based authentication for MQTT gateways.
