Enabling the 'Add service request' button for assets
The following procedure will allow field engineers to add a service request to a selected asset in the Assets module and on the asset details in the My jobs module.
Procedure
1. Go to Business processes > Standard orders.
2. Verify which standard order(s) you will use for adding service requests in the Assets module or create one or more standard orders.
3. On the action panel, link relevant asset groups to the selected standard order(s).
On the app, the linked asset groups are used to retrieve the relevant standard order(s) for an asset.
The Add request button becomes available on the app for assets that are linked to a standard order via their asset group. For assets that are not linked in this way, the button will be grayed out.
