Configuring fault handling
Field Services supports a 'fault handling' workflow. This workflow enables you to record problems detected for a checklist item of a planned maintenance order. This way you can comply with reporting standards and analyze the checks for which faults frequently occur.
The following features are supported:
Fault reason configuration: in MM & PMFS Configuration. Once configured, this feature can be used by field engineers to quickly add observed faults.
Mandatory checklist item configuration: in Maintenance Library.
Result recording: on reviewing checklist items on the PMFS app. Field engineers can select one of these results: Not assessed, Assessed with observation, Done. If the result is Assessed with observation, entering a reason is mandatory. Without a reason, the maintenance activity cannot be completed.
