Configuring mobile stores
You can configure 'mobile stores' for use in Planon field services apps such as Planon AppSuite and PMFS solution .
A mobile store is a distribution point that is located in the field engineer's vehicle. In order to configure the mobile store functionality you must:
Go to Stock > Distribution points
From the list of distribution points, select the relevant mobile store.
In the Property field, enter the property on which the mobile store (vehicle) must be registered.
In the Mobile store owner field, enter the 'owner' of the mobile store.

To be able to use the Materials module in Planon AppSuite, this person's user account must also be linked to the PMFS PRO product definition. For the PMFS solution this is not required.
Click Save.

Mobile stores can 'serve' many properties, there are no limitations. Therefore, it is not advisable to link properties to a mobile store via the action panel, as this can cause unwanted restrictions. Although every mobile store is registered on a property (by filling in the mandatory Property field), this is purely administrative and just means that the vehicle belongs to that building.
This owner/person can now use the materials in the selected mobile store, as stock items.
