Configuring a default quantity for 'Used' materials in requisition lines
With the additional setting Pre-set requisition line’s ‘Used quantity’ value to issued amount? on a sub web definition you can simplify registering material usage for app users, by setting a preferred default value for Used materials on the app.
Procedure
1. In Live app > PMFS (Live app) > Work assignments, select the relevant sub web definition.
2. On the data panel, select the Additional settings tab.
3. Go to the Pre-set requisition line’s ‘Used quantity’ value to issued amount? field and select the preferred setting for a default value:
◦ If you select No, the initial 'Used quantity' value of the requisition line defaults to 0. On the app, field engineers must always fill in the quantity they have used. If app users forget to update this field no used materials are registered.
◦ If you select Yes, the system automatically fills the Used quantity field on the app with the issued quantity. On the app, field engineers only have to edit the used quantity if they do not use the exact quantity that was originally issued.
4. Click Save.
