You can determine if there is an excess license usage using a grace licenses.

The grace period – excess license usage allows the customer to assess whether the maximum number of concurrent users for the acquired licenses needs to be changed.

The logs of excess license usage are recorded in the Excess license usage > Grace period - excess license usage step.
The data on this step gives you an estimation of how many concurrent users have access to the licensed modules of the application. Logging is done whenever there is an excess usage of the modules beyond the basic usage limit of the license. The logging happens for both excess usage and usage of an unlicensed module.
