The scheduling mechanism is a generic solution that can be used by multiple TSIs to manage jobs that must run at a specific date and time.

Before you can use the scheduling mechanism, additional configuration is required.

The Installer performs part of the scheduler configuration by default. To use the default scheduler, complete the configuration steps described in this chapter.
