Settings for the Assets (base) business object
Configure business object settings for Assets as follows:
Procedure
1. At the Business objects selection level, select Assets (base) to configure the business object settings.
2. On the action panel, select Under construction and then Business object settings.
A dialog appears with the Asset settings.
3. In the Asset age calculation method field, select the date from which the calculation of the asset's age should begin, up to the current date:
◦ Date of manufacture or construction
◦ Date first used
The asset age will be shown accordingly in the Asset age (…) fields on the respective asset layouts.
4. Click Completed on the action panel to save the settings.
