Settings for the Contract lines (base) business object
You can make several settings for the Contract lines business object.
Procedure
1. Go to the Field definer > Business objects selection level, set the Contracts lines (base) business object to Under construction.
2. On the System business objects action panel, click Business objects settings.
The Contract line settings dialog box appears with the following settings:
◦ System types with time-aware contract line - property links
This setting enables end users, such as contract managers, to define time-aware links between contract lines and properties. You can select to which contract line system type the setting should apply.
◦ User-defined types that do not allow negative amounts
This setting allows you to define per user-defined contract line type if negative amounts are allowed.
3. On the Links panel, click the option you need:
1. Link system type
The Link system type dialog opens. In this dialog, at Available, select the system types you want to use and move them to In use.

2. Link user-defined types that do not allow negative amounts
The Link user-defined types that do not allow negative amounts dialog opens. Select the user-defined contract line types that do not allow negative amounts.
The selected settings appear under User-defined types that do not allow negative amounts
4. Click OK and Close.
5. On Business objects > Contracts lines (base), set the business object to Completed.
