Requisitions
Settings related to the user defined states of a requisition can be made on the Requisitions tab of Orders settings.
| If no statuses are selected on this tab, no automatic status transitions can take place for requisitions. |
To set user defined automatic status transitions for requisitions, on the Links menu, select the type of (user defined) status transition you want to assign to the requisitions.
For example, Requisition: Tech. completed statuses.
In the dialog box that is displayed, move the available transition to In use and click OK. You have now made automatic status transition settings for Requisitions wherever they are used in the application.
Use the similar procedure to set user defined automatic status transitions for Administratively completed / Canceled statuses on Requisitions.
The settings are used in the following scenarios.
• If a requisition line is set to in progress, the (accepted) requisition is set to the status defined as In Progress status in Order settings.
• If all requisition lines are completed and/or canceled (and at least 1 line is completed), the requisition is set to the status defined as Tech. completed status in Order settings.
• If all requisition lines are canceled, the requisition is set to the status defined as Canceled status in Order settings.
• If a requisition is present under a Planned Maintenance order and the Planned Maintenance order is set to technically completed, the requisition is set to the status defined as Tech. completed status in Order settings.
• If a requisition is present under a Planned Maintenance order and the Planned Maintenance order is set to administratively completed, then the requisition is set to the status defined as Administratively completed status in Order settings.
