User-configurable system names of free fields
In Planon, a field or object is uniquely known and called by its technical label, the system name.
Most business objects have a set of free fields that are available for a specific user configuration. Some customers have software customizations using free fields built on top of the Planon application, so-called tailor-made solutions (TMS).
These customizations call the system name of the fields used. In order to be able to share TMS across customers without having to rework the code, these customizations now also work when calling the system name "alias".
In addition, rather than the technical label, these meaningful names will be more intuitive when used in Planon Connect for Analytics.
