Display types
Using a display type you can specify the data fields that should be visible for a particular business object. You can specify display types for the following business objects:
• Orders
• Properties
• Personnel
• Contracts
• Item groups
• Assets
The concept of a display type can best be illustrated by an example.
Example
Properties may be divided into various types, such as a complex of buildings, individual buildings and grounds. The data you want to register on office buildings may vary from the data to be registered on grounds. By specifying the Property type field for a property, you can decide the type of property concerned. The type of data to be registered depends on the choice made.
