How old and new behavior will coexist
For a period, systems may have both:
Old: SX-based DAM (ContainerSX, ReportSX).
New: Productized Data Aggregation using the Data aggregation parameters BO and product logic.
Rules
1. If the new “Aggregation parameters” reference is empty on a definition:
The system continues to use the old SX-based behavior.
This allows existing definitions to keep working after the upgrade.
2. If the new reference is filled:
The productized (new) behavior is used.
There will be checks to prevent mixing the official ContainerSX/ReportSX with the productized setup on the same definition.
3. After the DAM feature switch is enforced:
The new reference becomes mandatory.
The TMS SXs for Data Aggregation are disabled.
Only the productized Data Aggregation remains.
What it means for end users
Existing reports and dashboards should continue to work after upgrade.
During migration, consultants can test the new configuration in parallel while the old one is still active.
Eventually, everything will run via the new, productized Data Aggregation solution.
