Time-aware links allow you to link a contract line to one or more properties for a specific period. Each link has its own start and end date, enabling Planon to determine which link is valid at any given time. This creates a unique validity for each link across the contract period. Once defined, Planon applies the link only during its specified period.

In Field definer , the system administrator can specify for which contract line system types time-aware links to properties are allowed (see Settings for the Contract lines (base) business object). For the selected contract line types, end users can create time-aware links. See Creating time-aware links between contract lines and properties.
