Defining funds
Optionally, you can define
funds in
Budget Management and link them to a budget. A fund is a user-defined bussiness object.
Funds have a status transition model that is similar to the status transition model of budgets (Initial, Active and Closed). The status transition model of funds is very strict; you cannot return to a previous status. After activating the fund, the amount can only be changed by using a fund change and a fund transfer.
You can link a fund to one or more budgets.
To add a fund, proceed as follows:
Procedure
1. Go to Components > Funds.
2. On the action menu, click Add.
3. Complete the fields in the data section.
4. Click Save.
A new fund is added.
