The Verify BIM model action is a feature that

• Ensures accurate BIM data management for customers

• Enhances data integrity within the Planon application

How it works

1. After configuring your BIM model, select your BIM model and click Verify BIM model in the action panel.

If errors are found, these are logged on the BIM model verification logs level.

2. The information in the logs enable you to fix the reported issue and repeat the verification process.

To make this work, please add the Verify BIM model action and the BIM model verification logs level to the BIM models layout.

Rule set

The Verify BIM model action currently checks the following rules:

Rule ID	Name	Description
001	Verify Source Model is Filled	Checks whether a source model is linked to the BIM model and it verifies the extension of the source model (RVT or IFC).
002	Verify BIM Model connected to BIM System	Verifies whether the BIM Model is connected to a BIM system.
003	Verify BIM Model Group Linked to Property	Verifies whether the BIM Model Group associated with the BIM Model is linked to a property.
004	Verify Uniqueness of BIM Source Model	Verifies whether the source model for a given BIM model is unique. If the source model is redundant, a log entry is created with a warning. If the verification fails, a verification log entry will be created with a severity level of WARNING.
005	Verify BIM System BO Link Integrity	Verifies that the property associated with the given BIM Model matches the properties associated with the business objects referenced by each of the BIM System BO Links associated with the BIM Model. If the property differs, a verification log entry will be created with a severity level of WARNING.
006	Verify BIM Model Type Autodesk Cloud Reference	Verifies the BIM model type’s Autodesk cloud reference associated with a BIM Model. If the BIM model contains BIM model types of both SVF1 and SVF2, a verification log entry is created with severity level of WARNING. If the BIM model type Autodesk cloud reference similarity is not present, a verification log entry is created with severity level of WARNING. If the BIM model includes either of the model types SVF1 or SVF2, and a WebDAV-stored model is also present on the same BIM model type, a verification log entry is created with a severity level of WARNING. If the BIM conversion type on the BIM model does not match with the BIM model type conversion types, a verification log entry is created with severity level of WARNING. If the BIM conversion type on the BIM model is UNKNOWN, a verification log entry is created with severity level of Info.
007	Verify BIM Model Type WebDAV Path Reference	Verifies the WebDAV path reference of the BIM model type associated with the BIM model. If a similarity is detected in the WebDAV path reference of the BIM model type, a verification log entry is generated with a severity level of WARNING.
