Verifying a BIM model
The Verify BIM model action is a feature that
• Ensures accurate BIM data management for customers
• Enhances data integrity within the Planon application
How it works
1. After configuring your BIM model, select your BIM model and click Verify BIM model in the action panel.
If errors are found, these are logged on the BIM model verification logs level.
2. The information in the logs enable you to fix the reported issue and repeat the verification process.

Rule set
The Verify BIM model action currently checks the following rules:
Rule ID | Name | Description |

001 | Verify Source Model is Filled | Checks whether a source model is linked to the BIM model and it verifies the extension of the source model (RVT or IFC). |
002 | Verify BIM Model connected to BIM System | verifies if the BIM Model is connected to a BIM system |
003 | Verify BIM Model Group Linked to Property | verifies whether the BIM Model Group associated with the BIM Model is linked to a property. |
